       Educator, writer, playwright, and director Ryan Williams French is a results-driven motivational speaker dedicated to transforming the lives of young visionaries.

 

       His most recent teaching role was as an eighth-grade English Language Arts teacher in Albany, New York. Ryan has also taught in Los Angeles and San Francisco. 

 

           He earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.F.A. from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Additionally, he trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and the National Theater Institute. For the past decade, Ryan has been committed to empowering youth, particularly Black and Brown young people, to achieve their goals through education and the arts.

 

        In 2020, Ryan launched My Strength My Song, a ministry designed to empower and equip young Black and Brown men with knowledge about their identities in Christ. Through this blog, Ryan aims to unapologetically empower young men and women to embrace their voices and identities with strength and confidence.

 

            In addition to his work in education, Ryan is an accomplished playwright. His play "We Called Them Angels" was released as a radio play in 2023 and can be viewed here: www.wecalledthemangels.com. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
